In order help develop our young athletes Ardattin Athletics together with 3 other athletic clubs in County Carlow have organised an inter club league. The first round of this league will be held in Ardattin on Friday 17th of April with races commencing at 7.00pm sharp. Registration is €2 per child will commence at 6.30pm.
Order of Races:U6 60m ,U7 60m ,U8 60m, U9 80m, U10 80m, U11 80m, U12 80m, U13 80m, U14 100m, U15 100m, U9 400m , U10 600m, U11 600m, U12 600m, U13 600m, U14 800m, U15 800m. The age criteria from the AAI rule book is “No athlete my obtain a birthday in the year of competition and compete in that age”.
It is important that all participants are registered with Ardattin Athletics and we will hold a 2nd registration night on Tuesday 14th of April during the normal training session.
All race finishers score points for the Club so we want to see as many as possible of our athletes taking part. The club with the highest number of points after the last round will win the league and each participant will receive a medal depending on where the club is placed in the league.
