A total of 35 boys and girls entered in the area art competition and 6 children took part in the junior competition.  Well done to all who participated.  The children placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd will go forward to represent Slaney Valley in the County Finals which will be held on Saturday 21st of March  in Ballon NS.  The morning session begins at 10.00 am and afternoon session at 2.00pm.  You can attend whichever session suits you best.

U8s & U10s can choose to draw any community games activity. U12s, U14s & U16s can draw one only of 4 taken from a list of 10 community games activities which are: Cross Country, Cycling on Grass, Rounders, Skittles, Gymnastics, Group Modern Dance, Choir, Duathlon, Table Tennis and Long Jump. The 4 will be drawn 15 minutes prior to commencement of competition in the venue.
