Last Thursday saw the Area trial for the U10 Handwriting competition, Firstly congratulations to all who took part, standards were very high and everyone should be very proud. The results are now back from the adjudicator and are as follows:

Girls 1st Sarah Sheppard, 2nd Annie Sheppard, 3rd Aoife McGrath, 4th Roisin Carroll.

Boys 1st Evan Collier, 2nd Sean Smith, 3rd Eamonn Murphy, 4th Max Coulahan.

The top 3 are representing Slaney Valley in the county final held at the presentation college Carlow this coming Saturday the 18th, we wish them the very best of luck.
